  hi everyone, my goodness....i dont know how to thank all of you!

  your posts touched me so deeply; i dont know how to thank you all or how to tell you how much your kindness and love have meant today.. i know we all have so many of our own problems and issues to deal with; i feel kind of foolish for.....god, i dont know what?

  for feeling so lost, so utterly impotent to change all that is going on, both inside my head as well as in my family, that i would be weak enough to want to give up and give in.

  I got a nutter !

  i'm glad that jehovah will kill you,yet!.

  there is alot of things that i want to say but you know that jesus said in matt 24:9-11 that you would hate his faithful ones ,but to be honest with you ,we don't hate you ,cause in matt 5;1-9 says that we will be hated,so since we all know that ,than it is a pleasure that you talk about us.and other thing that i want to say is that people in the world thinks that we are crazy ,but if you would read the old testament than you will know that the jews were to serpart themselves from the other nations and that is how jehovah's witness fell about it,see when the jews would be around other nations than they would forget jehovah and they would worship other gods.when they do that ,it would cost them their lives.so it is good that you are talking about us and i would like for you to continue to do so .why?

  When I was a kid, I used to make a sandwich with white bread, dill pickles, and mayonase. -larc

  lol larc, that brought back memories. When I was small...we were too poor for pickles or bologna. We made sandwiches outta white bread & mayonnaise (don't know where we got the mayonnaise). I was told that if I closed my eyes while I was eating my mayonnaise sandwich...I could taste the baloney.

  favorite pickle: Mini Dill Pickles
  Full sour dill taste in a mini pickle size. Same as the full-sized, full sour, but in a tiny pickle.

  i think pickles will eventually go bad...but, they aren't as crisp if they stay out...so put em back in the fridge, why take a chance on a bad pickle?

  
  DEEP FRIED DILL PICKLES
  
  1 cup all-purpose flour
  1/4 cup cornstarch
  1 tsp. baking powder
  1/4 tsp. salt
  1 cup ice water
  1 egg yolk
  2 tablespoons Full Sour Dill Pickle brine
  4 cups drained Full Sour Dill Pickles, sliced into 1/4-inch thick medallions
  Vegetable oil for frying
  Stir flour, cornstarch, baking powder and salt into large bowl. Make a well in centre; add water, egg yolk and pickle juice, all at once. Stir with wire whisk to make a smooth batter. Cover bowl and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

  Heat at least 2 inches of oil in deep fryer or large saucepan to 375ºF. In batches, dip pickle slices in the batter to coat evenly and lightly. Fry without crowding in hot oil until golden and crisp, 1-1/2 to 2 minutes. Drain on paper towels and serve at once.
  Makes about 8 servings as an appetizer or side dish.

  I'm sorry you are going through some rough times. Just know that we are here for you. We don't know your pain exactly, but we can cry with you. Hopefully, between those tears we can make you smile. The fire burns hot in some of our lives...but, it only makes us shine a little brighter for others.

  Some people do not realize the power of words. Especially words that come from people we respect, love and who hold authority over us. Those hurtful words sf heard 25 years ago, she can still quote verbatim.

  The interesting thing is that most of these people never intend to hurt us. They really think they are being helpful in some way or another, but we are wounded nonetheless.

  This is from a young girl who was a victim of emotional abuse...

  "Sticks and stones may hurt your bones, "but words will never hurt me."

  This is a saying that has been around for ages and adults are always telling us this. But it is one of the biggest lies I have ever heard.

  These sticks and stones hurt and injure your bones but this only lasts for a couple of minutes; your bones will eventually heal. But words hurt in two places that never heal: your heart and mind.

  Words leave an open void in you, aching in pain forever. Words can make a confident person the most insecure person. A fun loving person can automatically be turned into a shy unhappy miserable person. They will never go away.

  Harsh words affect people greatly more than any injuring punch or act of violence could do. They change a person's attitude towards life, they change the person.

  So why insult someone?

  You will soon forget it, but this person may never.

  It will always be somewhere inside them, in a dark empty void.

  Words can do more than damage us emotionally:

  You and smoldering wick broke my heart to read your stories. I am one of those ex elders who was part of the ugly system. I am so sorry for what you both have been through. And so many years later it still hurts. I just want you injured ones to know I'm sorry. I wish I was never part of it and that I could have been there for you. Keep talking about it and working through your feelings Its good for all of us. Jst2laws

  I realized that words of healing can be even more powerful. The words "I love you" and "I'm sorry"...can bring a person back to life.
